CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY · ADULTS + CHILDREN

Remembering
health again.

Health lives in you. It has never left.

Craniosacral therapy works at a level most people have never experienced. Not through pressure or manipulation, but through presence. A quality of listening so refined that the body begins to trust it, and in that trust, begins to release.

Using a touch no heavier than the weight of a nickel, this work communicates directly with the craniosacral system — the membranes, fluids, and tissues that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. Through this system the nervous system is reached, the flow of cerebrospinal fluid is supported, and restrictions that have been held, sometimes for years, are invited to soften.

The results are quiet and profound. A nervous system that stops running on override. A body that remembers what safety feels like from the inside. Clarity, ease, and a sense of coming home to yourself that is difficult to put into words until you have felt it.

This work may be for you
if you are living with...

  • Chronic pain (hurting without always knowing why)

  • Migraines and headaches

  • Neck and back tension

  • Fibromyalgia (widespread pain with no clear cause)

  • Stress and burnout (running on empty for so long it feels normal)

  • Anxiety (always on edge, wired but exhausted)

  • Emotional trauma (what the mind processed but the body still holds)

  • PTSD

  • TMJ dysfunction (jaw clenching, grinding, facial tension)

  • Post-concussion symptoms

  • Fatigue and sleep issues (exhausted but unable to truly rest)

  • Digestive imbalances

  • Prenatal support

  • Postpartum recovery

  • Grief held in the body

  • Feeling chronically disconnected from yourself

For the youngest
nervous systems.

From the very first breath, a baby's nervous system is already learning. Already adapting. Already storing what it could not yet process.

Birth, even when it goes smoothly, is one of the most physically intense experiences a human being will ever have. The compression, the rotation, the transition from fluid to air. The structures of the skull, the neck, the sacrum, the cranial nerves — all of them navigating enormous forces in a matter of hours. That experience lives in the body. It shapes how a baby feeds, sleeps, regulates, and moves. And when it isn't tended to, it can become the foundation for patterns that follow a child for years.

Joy works with infants from 6 months through the teenage years, meeting each child at their own pace with the same quality of listening she brings to every session. The touch is gentle, the presence is warm, and the body — even the youngest body — knows the difference.

When a baby softens into a session, something shifts. The system exhales. Functions that were bracing begin to open. Health remembers itself.

Conditions supported in infants and children include:

Birth trauma and difficult delivery recovery, colic and excessive crying, reflux and digestive imbalances, nursing and feeding difficulties, latch issues and tongue or lip tie support (pre and post revision), torticollis and restricted neck movement, plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome), sleep disturbances, sensory processing challenges, anxiety and emotional dysregulation, ADHD and attention difficulties, autism spectrum support, speech delay, ear infections, growing pains, post-concussion recovery, and general nervous system dysregulation at any age.

The earlier the nervous system receives support, the less a child carries into adulthood. This is some of the most meaningful work there is.
